The 2011 L’Eroica regulation has been released, since a few days it is available on the Facebook L’Eroica group page, but only in Italian. I will try to resume and translate the most important thing for you. Basically the important news are by point 6, which is: “admission criteria”. Registration procedure will open from the 1st of February til the 6th of September, participation is reserved for the first 2.200 Italian enthusiasts and to the first 500 people from other countries, all aged between 15 and 60 years old… so dear friends, you should sign up quickly! …The rest of the places available are reserved to over-aged people, but with no number limitation (for people born before 31/12/1951) and there is no difference if you’re Italian or a foreigner. Once you signed up you will have to pay the fee of 30,00 € through the L’Eroica website with credit card or Paypal. Everything else is exactly like previous years, all the routes, rules and so on… Feel free to contact me in case you need more information, I will be happy to help out…

It is already scheduled for the 2nd of October 2011; the new edition of the most famous retro bikes rally. After the great success of 2010 with 3480 participants, it’s possible that only a limited number of about 3500 enthusiasts will be able to join next year. As the organizers said, it might be the perfect size to guarantee everybody a pleasant, safe and enjoyable race. It seems that it will be possible to sign up starting from February just like last year, via the L’Eroica website. Soon other news will be updated. Stay tuned!
